Prayers work. :)

My great day turned out bad as I found out a thing that really pissed me off. I suddenly thought of the bad things that are happening at the same time that makes me insane. --the people who are messing up with my name without me knowing, the people who get mad at me without telling me their reason to act like that, and the pressure of completing my requirements for school.

Well, I guess it's too unpractical to get lost because of emotion. What I did was: pause, deep breathe, and pray. Just a simple prayer like "Lord, help me have peace of mind and joy" makes me feel good out of the bad things that stop me from moving.

I just realized, even in your worse time of your life, you can still inspire people. When problem strikes, you choose: to worry and freak out or to think positively and look on the opposite way?

Anti-Dengue Bracelet/Wristband

I have read an article a while ago and found out that two dengue victims per bed seem to be the norm nowadays, particularly, at San Lazaro Hospital in Manila. Maybe, it's true that dengue fever is not seasonal anymore. We can have that anytime of the day, rainy season or not. Well, that is awful to hear.

So, I guess we must become more protective than ever. Wearing this anti-dengue bracelet/wristband may be somehow helpful though I haven't tried it. Well, I'll get one when I have the chance.

Anyways, I don't sell this anti-dengue bracelet/wristband. I just saw it here: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5258441&id=647622368&ref=fbx_album&fbid=456103207368

confession.com

I experienced a life with everything as well as a life with nothing. Once, I was a child having all I need and desire. And now that I'm soon gonna leave my teenage years, I long the very things I have before. --a complete and happy family, a good life status, a mind with nothing but the word "play" and a lot more.

Boyfriend. I've been in and out of relationships. At the age of 13, I already have one. Call me what, I don't care. This is me and I am not to please you. Well, I've been a user and someone used me. I cheated and was cheated. I cried because of a guy and a guy cried for me. But through all that, I learned how to value and love somebody unconditionally.

Soft side. As a person, I know you have your weaknesses and "kababawan" and yes, I do have my own. Honestly speaking, I am weak. I easily give up and I fear to be left alone. But then, in every corny joke you throw to me, expect a hard laugh! I know I'm mababaw.

What else? Uhm. I did smoke. I do drink. (Know the difference between "did" and "do.")
I do smile
and cry
and snob
and brag
and forgive
and pray
and love.

I've been there and that but I still do listen to what other people say because I know I'm not mature enough to face my life on my own. Actually, I've done a lot of mistakes that made me say to myself "I wish I haven't done this and that." Well, anyways, everything happens for a reason and I do believe that every experience leaves us a learning.

Most important thing I've learned: Money can't buy love. :)

Difference between LOYAL and FAITHFUL

Faithful is being hooked on someone and is gonna be hooked on someone only. Practically speaking, if you're faithful, then you don't have time to get attracted to other people because you know and you know that you already have that someone in your life.

Now, loyal is like having that someone you love but still, you do appreciate the beauty of other people. And to tell you frankly, you still do the flirting some time but at the end of the day, you know where your heart really belongs.

So, are you loyal or faithful? :)

Maria Venus Raj and her "major major" thingy.

As I opened my faceboook last Wednesday, I saw lots of status with "major major" phrase within. I was like, "HAHAHA. Ako din nga!" But truly, I love Maria Venus Raj!

I know there were few that don't like her. But surely, 99 percent of all the people love her like I do. She's pretty inside out, I insist. Though I don't know her that much and just recently saw her on television, I do believe she's a good person with great ideas in mind. Actually, I googled her. LOL. And I found out that she lived in a nipa hut made of wood, bamboo and anahaw leaves with no electricity in the middle of a sprawling rice field in the rural Bato town for more than twenty years. That made me "whoaw" and yes, I applaud her for that thing.

On this day, I just simply stayed in my home and watched TV. I heard her on news, she guested a talk show, I saw her on commercials, I heard her voice, I saw her face and everything about her "major major" issue. I was like, "Edi ikaw na bidang-bida Miss Universe 4th Runner Up." I was about to be pissed off because of her but then, as I watched her being interviewed live, the level of hating her dropped down 6 feet underground.

She deserves to receive a standing ovation.

I am a Christian

I just saw this "about me" post from one of the friends of my friend in facebook:

I am a Christian

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say ..."I am a Christian,"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble,
And need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak,
And need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed,
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible,
But God believes I am worth it.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches,
So I call upon His name.

When I say ... "I am a Christian,"
I'm not holier than thou.
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received God's good grace somehow.

~Jopo Patacsil

I agree on every word that was spoken. Most of the people think that we, Christians, were so holy that we commit no sin. I just want you to know that we are still in a process and are not perfect as Christ.

God is 11:59

Me: Whoa. It's already three in the afternoon.

Man: No! It's not yet 3 o'clock. I palpitated!

Me: Why?

Man: I need to pass these papers later and I'm not yet done! There's no way to finish this. I'm stressed! :(

Me: Relax. Stop for a while and pray. Claim that you will be able to pass those stuff on time. God is 11:59

Man: Thanks! :)

After two hours. . .

Man: I made it! Thank God! :)

An 11:59 experience is when you have come to the end of yourself and all your natural abilities. It’s a time when nothing and no one can help you. The circumstance can make you feel helpless, hopeless or even desperate. The situation may be physical, financial or even emotional. You are in a dilemma. The only solution is a “miracle” which you can’t perform nor anyone else, except God.
-Jackie Morris

God can never be delayed, but He may come in the last minute.
God is always on time!

Does God hear all our prayers?

Okay. Let us go to reality. I am a Christian and I am proud about it. I just want you to dip into what I have discovered few steps back in time.

Two months ago, I was thinking about a bible verse to share with my high school friends. I kept on thinking. Then, I searched from my bible. What I found was this:

The Lord hasn't lost his powerful strength; he can still hear and answer prayers. Your sins are the roadblock between you and your God. That's why he doesn't answer your prayers or let you see his face. Isaiah 59: 1-2 CEV

So, definitely, not all prayers are heard. As long as we commit sin, still He doesn't hear our appeals. Unless we ask for forgiveness, that's the only time He will hear our prayers. Yes, not just to ask for forgiveness but to have a sincerest apology. He is a forgiving God.

Maybe, some may ask me, "ask for forgiveness for what?" Let us go again to reality. I am a sinner. You are a sinner. We are all sinners. That's what you'll gonna apologize to Him.

Now, this thing may seem senseless to you. But, there will come a time that you'll encounter again Isaiah 59:1-2 in your life.

Have a blessed life everyone!

behind every smile

The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy.

-Tenzin Gyatso, 14th Dalai Lama

How are we when struggles invade our very own lives? Know yourself in your most vulnerable times. Are you the kind of person that will go with the flow of problem that puts you down or are you the type of being that will kick against the situation until you won the battle?

Sometimes, when you are with your friends and having good laughs, you're cheerful even though the middle portion of you is bleeding inside. But, when you are alone, are you still the same blissful person as you are when you're with you're friends? Reflect.

It's fascinating to think that the most funniest people you know are those that carry heavy loads in life. Can you imagine how strong they are? They came from a broken family, yet they are happy. They go through financial crisis, yet they are happy. They don't have food on their table, yet they are happy. What about us?

In good times, praise God. In bad times, still praise God. It's not that He wants you to suffer but instead, He wants you to be disciplined. He is a friend, communicate with Him through prayer.

Keep praying, He is listening. :)

Did you ever know the meaning of "goodbye"?

There's this one professor I have encountered during my first year in college that told me the real meaning of the word "goodbye."

Perhaps, most of us think that goodbye means going away or something like that. I know some of you are allergic to that word. Yeah, when you hear someone said that word "goodbye" to you, it somehow hurts you, right? Especially when that someone is so dear for you. Then, suddenly, you feel depressed because of that word. Eventually, it kills you. Hello? It's just goodbye.

You wanna know what goodbye truly means? Well, it's simple as God bless you or God be with you. So, why would you feel depressed? Claim it and be blessed.

Now, when someone tells you goodbye, your response should be "thank you." Yeah, to some who doesn't understand the real meaning of goodbye, they might be confused about your reply. But, it doesn't matter. It's their problem anymore.

We are supposed to choose our words carefully. God bless you! :)
